Cu Dubh / Koo-Doo / from the Scotch Gaelic "Black Dog" - Mike McNutt and David Macejka (2012 Grammy Nominee) combine their vision with a variety of select performers to create dark original compositions played on the Highland Bagpipes and a barrage of drums from around the world. With 16 cds and a DVD featuring a blend of original and traditional music, Cu Dubh has proven to be one of the most prolific bands in it's genre. You never know what's going to happen at a live show. They take their music a step further and have featured everything from Belly Dance and Fire Dance to the thundering Taiko drums or traditional Algonquin War drum and Chant. Recently on "The Court of the Two Sisters" CDs and at select live shows they have added haunting vocals singing traditional Icelandic hymns. The family friendly show is always bringing something different while keeping the familiar mix of music inspired by Celtic/Viking Battle and Dance from around the world.
